A note to all HP authors: If you have fic on FF.net, please consider moving it to AO3 or another HP archive. There are many to choose from, if you need help finding one, ask, please, it will only work to your benefit.
Why, yes I've found a fandom where I like Het pairings. ;) It happens so rarely it deserves special notice. *grins*
NOTE: Updated July 20th 2017
Recs are divided up by pairing
You can find more recs in my memories here, with my recs tag here and on AO3 here. All these links have multifandom recs, not just HP. You will also find more recs in many fandoms here
NOTE: Some links may be broken, I am trying to list other places to find those fics. If you find a broken link, leave a comment and I'll try to fix it.

I'm always looking for new fics to read. If you know of a fic you think I'll love, based on these recs, feel free to leave a comment here. You can see other pairings I'm interested in here.
Fall television season is about to start! I’m anxiously awaiting the return of a few shows, The Blacklist, The Flash and Supernatural the most. Also, The Librarians. There aren’t many new ones I’m interested in this year, I will be watching Seal Team, because David Boreanaz.
Other shows, new and returning: Supergirl, Scorpion, Legend's of Tomorrow, This Is Us, Designated Survivor, The Good Place (ridiculous, but I watch it anyway), Arrow, Blindspot, The Gifted (maybe), The Orville (maybe), Black Lightning (maybe).
Then of course there’s the Christmas episode of Doctor Who. I am excited and sad all at the same time for that. Excited and curious to see what happens and how it all plays out. Excruciatingly sad to see the Twelfth Doctor go. I legitimately have no opinion on Jodie as the Doctor. I will wait and see how she does before I judge, I was wrong about Eleven being awful, I've learned my lesson. My worry is Chris Chibnall as show runner. I’ve seen his episodes of Doctor Who and I don’t like them. I’ve seen Broadchurch and I don’t like it. I don’t really like most of his Torchwood episodes, so no I don’t have high hopes for the writing and direction of the show moving forward. But enough of that for now. I’ll complain more in December!
I did take the summer to watch a few things I hadn’t seen before. Star Trek Voyager, which I LOVED! Primeval, I also liked quite a lot. Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, what the frack even is that?!?! Seriously, it’s bat-shit crazy! It’s also just odd enough that I might watch season 2, though I’ll wait for it to finish airing and binge watch it all at once.
I found a couple really good beef stew recipes so I thought I'd share. The first one can be left on the stove to cook on a low heat. The second can be done in a crockpot/slowcooker as long as you brown the meat on the stove then add everything to the crockpot.

I have done it before with other shows as well, Buffy, Highlander, Andromeda, Charmed, Blake's 7, Relic Hunter, to name a few. :)
In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something fun you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.
1) Try something new! Be it a new fandom, a pairing you never thought to try or a kink/trope you've been ignoring. epic_recs crack_van and smallfandomfest are good places to start looking
2) Post a rec for that one fic/art/vid/book/show/movie/etc you've always loved but have been ashamed to admit to liking.
3) Join/participate in a community/meme/activity designed to make you create and/or interact with a larger portion of fandom. such as:. snowflake_challenge, fandom_stocking, naarmamo, NaNoWriMo, or join a landcomm (there are dozens) or post in a friending meme or just join something designed to make you post more 100things_index, 30 day meme, rectober, etc
In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing.
This is both difficult and easy. There are so many awesome creators in fandom, narrowing it down to one is near impossilble. There are so many that I love that I'll read anything they care to write. I know I'll forget a bunch, but here is a partial list: van, stillrose, killabeez, aspenlight, batsutousai, nautibitz, jinxed_wood, madeleone, Good_Witch, literaryspell, and a whole bunch more. Everyone on my flist is there because I like what they do. ♥♥♥
In your own space, talk about what you bring to fandom. It can be something tangible, or not.
Each one of us interacts with fandom in their own way. What is yours? Do you create fanworks? Edit? Cheerlead? Create rec lists? Mod a challenge? Leave awesome feedback? Click that Kudos button (and maybe wish it could be clicked more than once per fanwork)?
Didn't we already answer this with or responses to days 1, 3 & 5? I create graphics, occasionally write and I've beta-ed a few times. I also ocassionally leave comments and I leave kudos.
Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or check out some fanworks that are new to you.
Ok, so this one I really shouldn't do, because the last thing I need is to start playing in another fandom. The list of fandoms I already read fic in is enormous!
So, of course like the idiot I am I read a House/Cameron fic. Damn. Maybe I should have stuck with my original idea of reading a new (to me) pairing in Harry Potter. Bugger.
If I miss posting tomorrows challenge, someone poke me. I'm going over to AO3 to drown myself in the House/Cameron tag now.
Oh, the fic I read was Detour.
I've started watching House. I still have no clue why I didn't watch it while it was on. I adore Hugh Laurie so I knew I'd like it, if for no other reason than I'd get to stare at him. :) I've been streaming it on Netflix and am about halfway through season 4. Did I mention I adore Hugh Laurie? He's gorgeous and I love him and now I want to watch Blackadder and Jeeves & Wooster and A Bit of Fry & Laurie. *sigh*
I've also been rabidly watching everything Tom Hughes has done. I watched The Game on BBC America a couple months ago and immediately became obsessed with him. So I've been watching things like London Hospital, Silk, Dancing on the Edge and a bunch of other stuff. I must admit it's odd having a crush on someone that's actually younger than me.
I'm enjoying the Fandom Snowflake Challenge, it's proven to be quite an interesting experience. I am ready for this round of landofart to be done though. I'm quickly running out of inspiration for graphics. I've begun waiting until just before challenges are due to get them done. Luckily I think there's only a few challenges left before then end of the round. I've been asked to create banners for some BtVS/AtS fic and I'd much rather be doing that.
In your own space, talk about what surprises you about fandom. It could be a pairing or fandom you never thought you'd like. A fanwork type you never knew existed.
Talk about a talent you discovered you have. Finding folks who are geekier than you, or on the flip side, finding out that there is no one geekier than you. A person who changed your life. The possibilities are endless. Big or small, what unexpected surprises have you found?

In your own space, create a fanwork. A drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. A picspam. Something.
I've been wanting an excuse to make new wallpapers for my phone, but all my graphics making time has been spent working on various challenges lately.
