What is a land comm?
It is a challenge community broken up into teams. The teams compete in various challenges (fic writing, graphics making, puzzles, quizzes, etc...) to earn points. The team with the highst points at the end of the round wins. What do you win? Bragging rights mostly. ;)
Because not everyone is good at fic writing/graphics making, you don't have to enter every challenge. That's why the type of challenges vary. But the more you enter the more points you earn.
It's also a good way to make new friends.
