Title:Love Like a Sunset
Author:
snarkyscorp
Pairing(s): Harry/Scorpius
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 20,713
Warnings (Highlight to view): *ADW: 45/19, some homophobia but that's what the fic deals with ;)*
Summary: The Wizarding community in Britain is a very conservative place. Scorpius is the leader of a rebellious group of queer young folk, out and proud and pushing as hard as they can against the strictures of their society. He's the most over the top, wild, flamboyant man that Head Auror Harry has ever met. Scorpius might as well walk about under a giant sign that declares him the gayest man in Britain (and once, he did). Harry is terrified that Scorpius will figure him out, but, god, he can't stop thinking about what might happen if he did.
Why I loved it:
This could have turned into crack!fic so easily and it didn't. It beautiful and real and brilliant.
Title: The November 9th Letters
Author:
oliversnape
Pairing(s): Gen
Rating: PG
Word Count: 5,513
Warnings: None
Summary: Every year Harry Potter writes a letter to his second son, who is growing up surrounded by friends and family, new and old. Ignores a good chunk of the epilogue, happy and light.
Why I loved it:
This type of story isn't usually my cup of tea, but it is adorably sweet and the ending put a huge smile on my face.
Title: The Love of A Good Wizard
Author:
sweetsorcery
Pairing(s): Harry Potter/Tom Riddle, Pansy Parkinson/Minerva McGonagall
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 75,027
Warnings: Time Travel, AU
Summary: History of Magic has something to teach after all, and two resourceful students decide that the key to having any future at all lies in the past, and in Tom Riddle's heart. Assuming he has one.
Why I loved it:
Wait!!! Don't run away! I know the pairings are a bit shocking but this story is worth it! Come on, give it a try, you know you want to. ;) It's SweetSorcery's most popular story for a reason after all. It even has a happy ending.
