I'm almost finished with season 8 of SG-1 and season 1 of SGA.

Just exactly how many times does Daniel die? He dies the first time in the movie and Ra puts him in a sarcophagus and revives him. Why? It would have made more sense for Ra to leave him dead seeing as how he wanted to show the people of Abydos and his own Jaffa that Daniel wasn't in fact a god. But then again, movies and tv shows never really make sense.

Yes, I did re-watch the movie recently. On Thursday in fact. There were a few specific things I wanted screencaps of. I also re-watched the first 2 episodes of season 1 last night for the same reason. There's one scene in particular, the scene in the pilot episode after they're back from Abydos and Jack and Daniel are in Jack's living room talking... yeah, that scene. I remember the first time I watched it that I saw the potential for Jack/Daniel. Upon re-watching, I not only saw it but decided I was actually interested in the idea. Damn it! Now I want to read fics that take place during/after that scene. I'm sure there are some, somewhere.

I'm not nearly as predictable in my choice for favorite character in SGA. Or maybe I am. It's not McKay or Sheppard. No, it's Carson Beckett. I hear his lovely Scottish accent and I get this stupid fangirl smile, every time. XD
