Finished watching Children of Earth. I hope that's the last of Torchwood, either that or get rid of RTD. Also watched Planet of the Dead. It wasn't bad I suppose, it wasn't exactly good either. *sigh*

Being Human is interesting though. And Aiden Turner is gorgeous. I'm really hoping BBC America airs season 3 of Robin Hood. :) I've also been watching Warehouse 13 which is kind of interesting.

Finally finished watching Stargate Atlantis (♥♥♥) and I'm just waiting for season 4.5 of BSG to be released so I can finish that up. Then hopefully I'll be all caught up on everything I want to watch before the fall season starts.

You know, I never heard anyone say that they wanted to get rid of a show's creator until I started watching British television shows, and I'm totally baffled by it. I've heard people disagree with Joss Whedon, Rob Thomas, Bryan Fuller, Tim Minear, etc...but for some reason, people really rip into RTD. And considering he's a lot of the reason why the new Doctor Who exists, and Torchwood is HIS show, I don't...I don't understand. *Confused* Can you explain it to me?

Then again, I LIKE RTD. A lot. I like all of his episodes, I like all of his characters. I liked Planet of the Dead quite a bit, not so much The Next Doctor, but hey. I'm excited for Waters of Mars, but even MORE excited for the two-part send off. So thrilled.

I guess it could also stem from the fact that I haven't seen all of Torchwood, just most of S1. Children of Earth seems to have a varied effect on people - my girlfriend's reaction was "stay up until 3 AM to get the downloads and then cry", while others flat hated it. So, I don't know. xD

I liked RTD at the begining too. I love season 1 of Torchwood and most of season 2 and I even give him props for reviving Doctor Who. However, I think he's burned himself out. The Next Doctor and Panet of the Dead were boring (still holding out hope for Waters of Mars, maybe it will be better). Season 3 of Torchwood was awful. He needs to move on and do other things. If BBC wants more Torchwood, someone else should write it.
