I guess we should have seen this coming—given this week's news that Buffy creator Joss Whedon would direct The Avengers—but it's now being reported that he will also have a shot at the movie's script, as well as that of Captain America: The First Avenger.

I am beyond excited about this! I mean seriously, I can't even find words to describe how awesome this will be.
It's almost time for me to start planting flowers and such. We bought our tomato plant, it's a Purple Cherokee Heirloom tomato plant. The tomatoes are purple. We will also be growing purple bell peppers and purple carrots this year. As well as watermelon radishes (they're not purple). We planted two rhubarb plants today, in the hopes that the rabbits will eat them and leave the rest of the vegetables alone.
On Tuesday I went to Twin Cities Magic with a friend of mine. I now have a purple wig and purple lipstick. My friend got a green wig, orange lipstick and a multi-colored glitter lipstick. XD They have a really cute pageboy wig that I want, it's two different shades of blue. And they had a really cool pair of blue and purple eyelashes, but my eyelashes are very long (they occasionally brush against the lenses of my glasses) and perfectly curled so it's rather pointless to try and wear fake ones.
My various obsessions are still spiraling out of control. I've watched 6 more RDJ movies and I've started watching some of Val Kilmer's movies and I re-watched a few I hadn't seen in years.
Changes: Book 12 of The Dresden Files... I really don't like the direction this series is going.
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series is apparently being made into a movie with Katherine Heigl as Stephanie. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
