My first fandom was Buffy the Vampire Slayer and my first ship was Buffy/Spike, then I found Spike/Xander and I've never looked back. Fandom became my home and fanfic my preferred reading material. By the time Firefly came along I was hooked and was willing to watch anything Joss touched. While I'm not completely fannish about everything he does, the things I do squee over tend to become lasting obsessions.

BtVS and AtS will both be on my 100 things blog! Buffy had such a huge impact on my life and well Angel took me to the next level.

I also have enjoyed the few episodes of Dollhouse that I have seen, but I just have not watched them all.

Didn't Joss write the script for the original Buffy movie? He created the entire Buffy story himself, right?

Sort of. Joss created the characters and the Buffy Universe and wrote the original script for the movie, however the director and producers of the movie changed so much of his original script that by the time it was finished it barely resembled his original idea. He's tried to distance himself as much as possible from the movie because of it. One of the reasons he created the show was because he was so unsatisfied with how the movie came out that he wanted a chance to show people what he really wanted the characters and the Buffyverse to be like.
