There were pairings you forgot! Or maybe you don't like?
I love with all my heart Ten/Master even mire than Ten/Rose, but it was not there :(
In white collar i love the threesome of Elizabeth/Peter/Neal too ;)
Severus/Lily/James in harry potter
In Xmen canon I missed Moira/banshee, Logan/Jane, Gambit/Rouge, And maybe Logan/Charles/Erik
And well i love Richtchie Sherlock Holmes as i love Sherlock BBC as well, So from there i love John/Sherlock and Mycroft/Lestrade
And i love Nine/Rose/Jack i think they were awesome! When Jack cameback, Ten was so different, they were only possible friends... Poor Jack pinning for the doctor for so long and he was not the same.
And i missed eleven/River because it grow on me River is a good character, Moffat it is not good with bamf women he always make a great mistake with them in some point, but she has a lot of potential.
About highlander i watched the series, but so long ago... I don't remeber having a pairing really
And in star trek i also love Scotty/Uhura

But The Master/Ten is so intense! I loved every bit of them, you can see that they never stop to love each other from when they were kids, to almost every regeneration, but i agree with you that three/the master is the other awesome of this pairing incarnations.
I love Erik/Charles In every incarnation!! in first class, in canon, in animated version, in the other movie version... But in first class they are very impossible not to see i agree with you!
Ohh i did not know you disliked Simm so much, but even if he was any other actor at your choosing Ten feelings for The Master are really powerful. I also love the friendship between Ten and Donna they made a great team!
And with Eleven yes maybe Eleven/Amy/Rory is more like it :)
Ohh well if you don't like one of the leading actors it is difficult to watch a series... But the series it is good, i really love Lestrade and Mycroft ;)
Guess I'm the odd woman out...my pairs are all het, and my moresomes are transitory (and also het, if you know what I mean). There are het pairs listed here, but not the ones I ship. For the record: Tony/Pepper, New!Spock/Uhura, Original!Spock/various females, Holmes/Adler, Harry/Harmony, Cap/Peggy, Clint/Darcy, Loki/Sif or /Natasha, and other random het hookups as the mood takes me.
I do like Tony/Pepper, but only in the movies, I don't read fic for the pairing.
I don't ship anything from the new Star Trek; from TOS I do ship unrequited Spock/Chapel.
Holmes/Adler and Harry/Harmony I like on screen, but again not in fic form.
As a rule I don't often ship canon pairings, at least not in fic. There are a few canon pairings I love, in the show or movie, but I don't like reading fic about.
That's the great thing abut fandom, we can all like different pairings and characters and still find common ground in other areas. :)
But if you ship a transitory moresome can't be het, maybe Bi, but not het unless they were swinger couples no? Because in a moresome you ship everymember of it with the others and together, so some relationships are at least bi.
The moresomes I write/read tend to be about two men pleasuring the same woman and herself returning the favor. The men care about each other as well as the lady, but not in a physically intimate way.
The main reason I write them this way is that I'm not confident about doing justice to a character whose sexual identity/preference is other than mine. It limits the scenarios a bit, but I'm okay with that.
Then you take trios or moresomes as men and women platonic and bromance relationship with heterosexual relationship between the possible couples...yes? Interesting
Oh i love several het pairings, but there are fandoms where the pairing can't be het unleast fabricated to my view and some times it is the reverse thing. Because love can't be denied... But off course this is my pov. And obvously everyone can have their preferences because
Infinite diversity in infinite combinations... Is the best for the world!
I have to really like a female character before I ship them with anyone, so I don't have a lot of het pairings because I generally don't care for the female characters enough. Or in some cases I'm just really picky about how/when I'd read a pairing with them.
McGonagall is one of those. I prefer her paired up in time travel fics. Usually with Hermione going back in time to the 1940's and Minerva is paired up (or gets paired up) with someone then. (Pottermore has her about 10 years younger than my head-canon for her)
If I was going to go with a het pairing for Avon it would be Avon/Servalan.

I don't watch Sherlock BBC, because I don't like Benedict Cumberbatch.
I do like Severus/Lily/James. I'm not sure how I missed that one. *g*
I'm not really into X-Men that much but I fell in love with X-Men: First Class and the Charles/Erik overtones were impossible to miss.
River has grown on me too. I used to hate her, now I like her, but I still don't like Eleven/River.
