My ramblings about Harry:
Two observations on canon Harry -
His joyous wonder at learning about magic is perfect in it's innocence. It's a joy that he keeps even in his darkest moments. Harry loves magic and that is the one thing that makes me love Harry so much.
His feelings for Ginny are perplexing, at best. Here's a girl he first sees as Ron's little sister and then as a sort of adopted sister of his own. Then all of a sudden out of the blue with absolutely no warnings or indications that his feelings are changing he's suddenly in love with her? I don't buy it.
So who do I see him with? Everybody... Nobody,,, Someone he hasn't met yet? Almost anyone except Ginny or Hermione really.
Fanon and Head canon observations:
I do prefer Harry in slash pairings more than Het pairings.
I seem to really love Powerful!Harry and Dark!Harry.
I love the stories where Severus adopts Harry or becomes his guardian.
I've also come to love stories where either Severus or Sirius is actually Harry's father.
A story I've read recently has also got me interested in Gellert Grindelwald as a mentor and/or relative of Harry's.

In fanon I'm an Severus/Harry fangirl. Same dynamic that draws people to Harry/Draco I guess, but while I feel sorry for Draco I ONLY feel sorry for him and don't care about him otherwise, so Snape it is ;-)
