Day 15: Fandom Snowflake Challenge

Day 15

In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something fun you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.


1) Try something new! Be it a new fandom, a pairing you never thought to try or a kink/trope you've been  ignoring. epic_recs crack_van and smallfandomfest are good places to start looking

2) Post a rec for that one fic/art/vid/book/show/movie/etc you've always loved but have been ashamed to admit to liking.

3) Join/participate in a community/meme/activity designed to make you create and/or interact with a larger portion of fandom. such as:. snowflake_challenge, fandom_stocking, naarmamo, NaNoWriMo, or join a landcomm (there are dozens) or post in a friending meme or just join something designed to make you post more 100things_index, 30 day meme, rectober, etc

I think it's nice that so many challenges urge each otehr to interact more. :)

LJ has become rather quite with so many people leaving for DW, Tumblr, Twitter and FB (I'm just as guilty as anyone) that we all should make an effort to remember to post here more and interact with each other. :)
