Yay

The snow is finally gone from our front yard, so I was able to take down the Christmas decorations that were frozen to the ground and buried beneath the snow. YAY!!

Moar good news: I haz a new computer!
Well, it's not completely new, we bought it used. But it only cost $148.00 and it has double the hard drive space as the old one (80GB, as opposed to 40GB). It also has a DVD-ROM which the other one didn't.

What else is new... I got a new pair of glasses. My old ones were only about 4-5 years old. Yeah, I really needed a new pair.

Here's an odd bit of info and a question. We have all of the Sharpe movies on DVD. They played just fine in our DVD player, my boy friend took them to work with him a few times to watch on his laptop (yeah, he has a really hard job) and they worked just fine. Now when I try to put them in the DVD player it says they aren't NTSC. Is it possible that the laptop reformatted them?
