A few years ago the MPAA started posting Cease and Desist notices. They don't want fic writers using their rating system. So fic writers came up with their own system.
FRC: Fic rated suitable for children (Previously G)
FRT or FRT-13: Fic rated suitable for teens (Previously PG or PG 13)
FRM: Fic rated for Mature audiences (Previously R)
FRAO: Fic rated for ADULTS ONLY (Previously NC-17)
