The state of Mississippi has introduced a bill that would prohibit obese people from eating in restaurants.

They define obese as anyone with a BMI of 30 or higher

There are so many potential problems with this. What about people with benign fatty tumors? What about pregnant women? Those BMI scales are not fool proof.

Plus, how can that be legal? There's an invasion of privacy because restaurants will have to keep a file of all patron's BMI. The only results of this will be restaurants going out of business.

Will overweight workers be forced to quit, too?

Wow! I'm so freakin' shocked I just don't know how to respond. I really don't think it will cut down on obesity at all though. They'll just get their food to go.
