I signed up to PIMP Blakes 7 on smallfandomfest . The PIMP's are due by April 30th. I am completely lost. Seriously, I have no idea what to write. I totally suck at describing things. I have read numerous synopsis'/overviews of the show trying to get ideas. A lot of them are really great, but I don't want to copy what someone else has already written elsewhere. 


And for those of you on my flist that like the show and either have never been part of the fandom or used to be part of the fandom, is there anyway of tempting you into it (or back into it)?

You know, I used to be so in to that fandom, it's kinda scary. But the implosion at the end was so ugly, I'm not sure about ever being fannish in that way over it again. And these days, it seems mostly a slash fandom, and I was never in to those pairings, I'm afraid.

Yes, it is a slash heavy fandom. There are quite a few really good gen fics out there though. Some the best (IMHO) of them are written by vilakins. I know there are het fics too, but I haven't really been paying much attention to them (and the occasional femslash with Jenna/Cally).

There are also general discussions and episode discussions going on. As well as quite a bit of art being done.

~Sorry, LOL. We (a few of us from the fandom) are really trying to get more people interested. Ah well, if you're ever curious or whatever you can find all of the B7 comms on my profile. I think I'm a memeber of all of them. :)

It's not a fic I have to write, so much as an overview of the show and the fandom. Actually you should think about maybe posting about Queen of Swords in the next round. Maybe get more people interested in that show.

I was more of an Avon/Servalan fan back in the day. So many zines! I think I'd be a glutton for punishment to (re) get into a fandom where I'd feel like I do in Highlander fandom. But I will keep it in mind at least :)

I remember checking the comm out when you mentioned it a few months ago, but I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do, so I scratched my head and wandered away [g]

Well, good luck with the writing regardless. I'm sure you'll come up with something!
