I got bored and decided to do this...
What's the last thing you wrote?
I just started an Avon/Vila story set post-Orbit. I'm not sure if it will get finished. The last thing I posted was a couple sentences of Avon/Vila slash and a couple sentences of Giles brooding. They are both here.
Was it any good?
I'm happy with what was posted. I'm not too sure about the Avon/Vila Orbit story.
What's the first thing you ever wrote that you still have?
I wrote a 'story' for English class in elementary school that I still have. The first bit of fic I wrote was a Spike/Buffy ficlet that I've never posted anywhere (mostly because I was afraid to).
Write poetry?
I did in Jr. High and High school
Angsty poetry?
Not really, some maybe. Mostly love poems though. LOL
Most fun character you ever wrote?
Hugh Fitzcairn from Highlander. I love writing Fitz, he's one of the only Highlander characters I feel comfortable writing.
Most annoying character you ever wrote?
Probably Tarrant from Blake's 7.
Best plot you ever wrote?
Oh dear...maybe Loyalty
Coolest plot twist you ever wrote?
I haven't really written many. Midnight could be good, if I could figure out how to write the answer to Avon's question of why Vila is asking for, well...what he's asking for. *sigh*
How often do you get writer's block?
Honestly, there's never a time when I don't have writer's block.
How do you fix it?
I wish I knew a way to fix it. I'd be able to finish the half a dozen or so stories I've started.
Do you type or write by hand?
I prefer to write by hand, with a pencil.
Do you save everything you write?
Not always
Do you ever go back to an old idea long after you abandoned it?
Occasionally.
What's your favorite thing that you've written?
Loyalty
What's everyone else's favorite thing that you've written?
I've got the most comments on Loyalty.
Do you ever show people your work?
Unfortunately yes
Who's your favorite constructive critic?
I've not really written enough to get much concrit.
Did you ever write a novel?
No
Have you ever written fantasy, sci-fi, or horror?
Fantasy and sci-fi is what I write most. I've never attempted horror.
Ever written romance or teen angsty drama?
I've written stories with romance, but not a strictly romance story and no teen drama either.
What's one genre you have never written, and probably never will?
Horror, I don't like it.
How many writing projects are you working on right now?
Seven, I think. The above mentioned Avon/Vila post-Orbit story. A PWP Blake/Avon. The continuation of Surprise, that will probably never get done. A Classic Doctor Who/Blakes 7 crossover. A 'The Who' bandom PWP. Two Duncan/Fitz stories. I'm honestly not sure if any of them will ever get finished. I have zero confidence in my writing ability and no one to really talk to about it.
Do you want to write for a living?
No way
Have you ever written something for a magazine or newspaper?
No
Have you ever won an award for your writing?
Not really, but I did have a poem published in one of the ' The International Library of Poetry' books.
Ever written something in script or play format?
I seem to remember having to write something in script format in school once. Actually, it would be much easier for me to write that way.
What is your favorite word?
hmm, I don't have one.
Do you ever write based on yourself?
Yes, I've noticed a tendency to give most of the characters I write some of my own (very weird and contradictory) traits. It makes it very difficult to keep the characters 'in character'.
Which of your characters most resembles you?
Combine them and you have me. Seriously, as I said above 'weird and contradictory'.
Where do you get ideas for your characters?
Everywhere. I can get ideas from just about anything I see or hear, unfortunately I never know what to do with most of the ideas so nothing ever really comes from them.
Do you ever write based on your dreams?
Sort of. I often dream about things I think should have happened in various shows, or things I wished had happened.
Do you prefer happy endings, sad endings, or cliff-hangers?
I prefer to write happy endings
Have you ever written anything based on an artwork you've seen?
No. Wait, now that I think about it I probably have but I can't remember what it was.
Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
Yes, very much so.
Ever write something entirely in chatspeak?
No, I don't understand much chat-speak.
Does music help you write?
Sometimes
Are people surprised and confused when they find out you write well?
I don't know about other people, but I'm always surprised when I manage to write something that doesn't suck.
Quote something you've written:
Must I?
From Saying Goodbye

From Saying Goodbye
"He really was the best of us."
Fitz turned around, tears streaming. "That he was laddie."
"Darius was loved by many of us dear boy. I would expect that as word gets out you will find many of our kind here, saying goodbye."

Date: 2008-04-28 07:42 am (UTC)Neither actually. Avon apologizes (and actually means it) and Vila, well...he doesn't necessarily forgive him but he accepts the apology. It's kind of a wistful 'where the hell did everything go wrong' type of thing. Well, that's what it's supposed to be anyway.
Which Doctor? Two, of course. It's a bit AU and would need three stories to make it work. I have a rough idea written down, but not much else.

Date: 2008-04-28 08:08 am (UTC)I really do like Two. He may end up being my favorite Doctor. XD Avon/Jamie would be...oh, my!

Date: 2008-04-28 08:10 am (UTC)And, eee, yes. Two became my favorite, unexpectedly. ♥♥♥
I think Avon/Jamie would be amazing. Not amazing sex, but the way Avon would treat Jamie would NOT FLY with Jamie and Jamie would rip into him and it would be glorious. (And Two would totally, totally treat Vila right. XD)
