I won't be around much until after the election. I'm tired of reading/hearing about polictics. Unfortunately in this election our choices are awful or horrible, take your choice, either way it's not going to be pretty. Just vote for which ever...candidate...you want and quit bitching.

Damn. I hardly have any politics on my flist--mostly fandom and assorted RL. I'm sorry it's not like that for you. Can you filter the more political types out and be happier that way?

Unfortunately I'm not any happier with fandom right now than I am with the political stuff. I don't really feel welcome in any of the fandoms I'm part of and I can't seem to find the enthusiasm for reading fic right now. I think it might just be better for me to take a break for awhile or something. I also need to do a little trimming where my flist is concerned, there are too many people on it that I don't read their posts. I think at them moment I'm only reading posts from about 3-5 people on my flist.

I have several filters: people (that I almost always read), fannish communities, other comms, and miscellaneous which is people I only bother to catch up with sometimes. It makes it a lot easier.

I'm sorry you don't feel at home in B7 fandom though. There are a lot of nice people there I'm sure you'd get on well with.

Oh gosh, I've been following the race on-and-off, and it seems to me as though you have a choice between a rookie-puppet and a fruitcake. The whole process though is fascinating, but 'spose it's easy for me to say that as an outsider. Anywho, only one month more, and then it'll die down somewhat. Hope you're ok.
