Well, besides all the fantasy programmes making it onto the list, their best of list automatically fails for not having Blake's 7, Lexx, and Farscape on it.

I've never even HEARD of "Dark Shadows" so I'm surprised to see it there. Can't be that great if I've enver HEARD of it. And Smallville? That's only barely science fiction. Same with Buffy and Angel, Highlander, etc. BAH.

If they'd stuck to actual scifi they'd've probably gotten to add B7. And DS9.

Wow, you've never heard of Dark Shadows?!?! I thought everyone knew who Barnabas Collins was. You should check it out. Really.

Yeah, no way should Smallville be on the list and IMO, Star Trek should be #3 and TNG should be #7 instead of the other way 'round.

I never did understand why Fantasy and Sci-fi are lumped together the way they are. They're in no way alike. But 'The Powers That Be' who ever the hell they are seem to think they're one and the same. So, Buffy, Angel and Highlander get thrown in with the sci-fi shows.

I don't REALLY mind them being lumped together, but then the list should be the 25 Best Scifi/Fantasy shows of all times. The title is very misleading.

It is a bit misleading. Normally I wouldn't even look twice at Wizard because I don't really read comics all that often but I just couldn't resist seeing the list. Especially since the cover makes it seem like they chose Lost as #1.

I only agree with 6 of their 'best of' list. And I haven't heard of most of their 'worst of' list, which may be why they're on that list. :)

If I stick to just the sci-fi shows from the list, I agree with 9 of them. But that leaves off Buffy and Angel. If I add in the fantasy shows it goes up to 15.

Well, I saw all of those shows, and with differents degrees of greatness, they all were GREAT shows.
Some shows are miss: Farscape, Blake's 7 or VR-5. And even Sentinel or SG-1 should be there.
But then, there's always some shows left out when you do this kind of lists.
And I mostly agree with the "worst" list. At least, on those shows I already know something about. Like V, the series. Damn! As much as I liked the mini-series, I really, really hate the show!

No Blake's 7, None of Gerry Andersons - not even "Terrahawks" for the bad list! No Dark Angel or Mutant - X (though I'm not sure about the latter)

Sadly, B7 is always overlooked when these types of lists are made.

Season 1 of Dark Angel was fabulous. Season 2 really took a dive and is probably why it's not included. Mutant-X would probably be a better choice than Smallville (but then again I have issues with Smallville).

Stargate SG-1 was on their list of '5 Shows that didn't make the cut'. Their reasoning: It went on too long.

Stargate SG-1 and Farscape were on their list of '5 Shows that didn't make the cut'. Appaerently they thought Stargate went on too long and had too many spin-offs and they didn't like the 'muppets' on Farscape. Voyager wasn't mentioned at all.
